BuzzFeed embarked on a new frontier with its initiative to invest in the trending, "make your own adventure" content space. BuzzFeed wanted to attack the market in the mobile and digital spaces to reach users in all digital environments with their dynamic vehicles for storytelling.
Utility was hired to engineer all mobile and web dynamic content environments for BuzzFeed, with aggressive timelines set to test the market in rapid prototyping sprints and releases.
Utility's engineering and design teams built out the entire series of market-ready adventures, letting users take their own paths within the content experiences.
Using the Eko studio platform for dynamically-driven content, Utility helped BuzzFeed team up with Tasty to produce culinary related dynamic content within the mobile and web environments for consumers to engage with.
BuzzFeed was able to launch successfully and truly break into the dynamic content segment, and accolades poured in.
