Renowned global women's organization Women Deliver wanted to make a statement with their digital footprint at their tri-annual event in Vancouver, with custom mobile applications and web platforms at the forefront of user engagement and overall impact. With tens of thousands of users from hundreds of countries, across thousands of sessions, hundreds of speakers, and loads of live streaming events, the WD2019 event was looking for a digital quarterback to handle the technology solutions and infrastructure that could be reliable for the big conference.
Utility was selected as digital agency of record to handle all tech solutions, including user experience design, mobile app development across iOS and Android, all web platform and dashboard development, and live streaming. Utility managed stakeholders from the WD organization to present and develop modern ideas for high impact, and was in charge of implementing and launching everything at scale.
Users were able to engage with the new digital platforms and applications before, during, and after the conference, in an experience chock full of interactive schedule builders, itinerary planning, personal customizations, peer-to-peer connections, live streaming, and various other custom features.
Women Deliver's 4th global conference had many moving parts, with attendees coming from around the globe, requiring information to be fully accessible from any device, platform, and location. Solutions were delivered at speed, and with accuracy, with a primetime focus in mind.
The mobile applications across iOS and Android made it seamless for users to keep track of the massive amount of schedule blocks, and network effortlessly when looking to collaborate with others sharing similar interests and backgrounds.
Participants from around the world gathered to experience an event with thought-leadership from all corners of the universe. The digital tools allowed for easy access to content, live updates, and real-time event changes or announcements.
